Responsibilities

Partner with engineering to embed security best practices into product design and implementation.
Build, tune, and respond to Python-based detection rules for anomalous activity.
Partner with infrastructure teams to secure GCP, cloud networking, and Kubernetes.
Strengthen application security and coordinate pragmatic upgrades to Next.js and dependencies.
Build security guardrails, checks, remediation workflows, and supporting infrastructure.
Own vulnerability management from identification and prioritization through remediation closure.
Operate security tooling including endpoint/EDR, MDM, audit logging and alerting, and CSPM.
Develop technical and policy frameworks for safe company-wide AI adoption.

Requirements

5–10 years of experience, including meaningful time focused on security.
Strong understanding of cloud security and networking, with GCP preferred.
Ability to read code and ship fixes; Python scripting is strongly preferred.
Experience operating endpoint/EDR, MDM, audit logging/alerting, and CSPM security tooling.
Familiarity with GitHub, Terraform, and CI/CD security fundamentals.
Preferred experience with WAFs, web application security controls, threat modeling, and deep Kubernetes hardening or runtime security.
Collaborative, creative problem-solving skills with an emphasis on enabling teams.
