Responsibilities

Develop new logic components for FPGAs.
Implement custom signal-processing algorithms on FPGAs.
Implement custom controllers on FPGAs.
Collaborate with software engineers to develop embedded Linux applications that interface with FPGA logic components.
Package and use IP components in FPGA block diagram designs.
Work with development boards and in production environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
Hands-on electrical experience from internships or engineering clubs such as FSAE, Baja SAE, solar car, rocket club, or robotics club.
Experience developing in VHDL or Verilog.
Preferred experience with Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoC and familiarity with the Xilinx Vivado/Vitis toolchain.
Preferred embedded software experience, including embedded Linux and System on Chip architectures.
Preferred experience with heterogeneous computing platforms and high-speed data acquisition systems.
Familiarity with C/C++ or other high-level programming languages.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to apply first-principles reasoning to complex problems.
