Responsibilities

Build and deliver product innovations across Catawiki’s marketplace and internal platforms.
Create responsive, accessible web frontends using TypeScript and ReactJS.
Optimize product performance through measurement, monitoring, and data-informed improvements.
Partner with Product Managers and UX Designers on A/B tests and iterative experimentation.
Collaborate with frontend, backend, mobile, QA, design, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Design, implement, deploy, monitor, and manage production applications.

Requirements

Extensive experience as a Frontend Engineer using JavaScript or TypeScript, supported by a strong portfolio of frontend work.
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP/S, the Critical Rendering Path, CORS, caching, and CDNs.
Familiarity with ReactJS, NextJS, Redux, CSS Modules, Tailwind, and/or Rails.
Experience working in product companies with autonomous, cross-functional teams.
Experience owning applications in production with attention to availability, latency, and consistency.
Understanding of SOLID and DRY principles and consideration for accessibility, security, SEO, performance, testing, observability, internationalization, and typing.
Ability to collaborate, share knowledge, raise team capability, and iterate based on product insights.
Familiarity with NodeJS and running it in production is preferred.
