Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Implement and maintain frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Translate wireframes and mockups into functional UI components with designers.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
  • Write clean, modular, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Test and debug UI components for functionality and performance.
  • Integrate frontend interfaces with server-side logic and APIs alongside backend engineers.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical insights.
  • Champion usability and accessibility and suggest improvements based on current frontend practices.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with a popular JavaScript framework such as React, Ember, Angular, or Backbone.
  • Experience with frontend tools such as SASS/Stylus, Jade, and Grunt/Gulp.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs.
  • Ability to build features from scratch and drive them to completion.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Weekend GitHub side projects, open-source contributions, and product-company experience are preferred but not required.
