Full-Stack Developer - Monitoring Services in Others new

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for internal monitoring capabilities.
  • Build and integrate monitoring features into the existing VeepeeCloud console.
  • Translate user and product needs into practical technical solutions with the MOM and VeepeeCloud teams.
  • Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and implement automated unit and integration tests.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, reduce technical debt, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Potentially participate in selected operational activities, incident response, and critical production-event war rooms as the role develops.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Python or Go and designing and building REST APIs.
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework, including integrating features into an existing application.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency with Git, code reviews, automated unit and integration testing, and familiarity with CI/CD workflows.
  • Ability to work across multicultural teams and translate functional requirements into maintainable software.
  • Professional written and spoken English proficiency.
  • Nice-to-have experience includes Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, time-series databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad, GitLab, Linux, Terraform, and Ansible.
