Full Stack Engineer in Remote

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript on the front end and Java or Python on the back end.
  • Build scalable APIs supporting front-end and back-end functionality.
  • Participate in the full implementation cycle from design through rollout.
  • Use and validate AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
  • Write unit and integration tests.
  • Collaborate with engineers and the Product Manager to plan and implement features.
  • Participate in Engineering Chapters and contribute to architecture discussions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of web application development experience across front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Working experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Working experience with Java and Spring Boot or Python and one of its frameworks.
  • Experience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Good knowledge of CSS and UI development practices.
  • Effective communication and reliable asynchronous collaboration in a remote environment.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI coding assistants and disciplined workflows around them.
  • Preferred: familiarity with TDD and writing tests.
  • Preferred: experience with SaaS or custom-built products, especially B2B SaaS, FinTech, or HRTech.
  • Preferred: understanding of security principles and performance optimization.
