Full-Stack Engineer (Backend) in USA

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of software development, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Build and maintain backend services in Python supporting RESTful APIs and event-driven workflows.
  • Architect and scale systems optimized for speed, scalability, and reliability.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Research, prototype, and evaluate tools and technologies that improve development workflows.
  • Develop internal tools and integrate with external APIs.
  • Contribute to the expansion, testing, and release of products serving thousands of customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of backend development experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, with familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Fluency with relational database technology such as PostgreSQL.
  • Strong grounding in testing methodologies, TDD, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with agentic development workflows and AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
  • Working knowledge of React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with willingness to contribute across the stack.
  • Ability to work independently with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $110k - $120k/yr
