Responsibilities

Build and improve API keys, login experiences, analytics, admin tooling, workspace security, and related user and workspace management capabilities.
Design and build generic resource and permissioning services used by product engineering teams.
Ship customer-facing features end to end across backend services and admin or settings interfaces.
Scope work within a large existing system, assess rollout risks and migrations, and account for downstream team impact.
Roll out changes safely with minimal disruption to users, teams, and systems.
Debug and operate owned systems using customer reports, logs, and code.
Work with product teams, Sales, FDEs, and customer teams to understand needs and drive adoption.

Requirements

Expertise in Python.
Strong backend development background with comfort working across the stack as needed.
Experience with software and system design patterns and infrastructure, including APIs, cloud infrastructure tools, storage solutions, and data structures.
Strong testing and security fundamentals.
Careful handling of live, business-critical systems and ability to learn a large existing codebase quickly.
Comfort working through ambiguity and prioritizing among competing signals.
Ability to demonstrate difficult problem-solving through past projects or GitHub contributions.
Experience with authentication, authorization, or permissioning such as OAuth, SSO/SCIM, or RBAC is a bonus.
Experience with Kubernetes is a bonus.
Experience building internal platforms or services for engineering teams is a bonus.
