Responsibilities

Develop reliable, responsive, performant web applications to command, control, and monitor thousands of Starlink assets.
Create intuitive user interfaces that reduce operator workload and maintain strong safety guardrails.
Collaborate with engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews.
Partner with operations teams to understand mission needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Investigate business problems, identify efficient solutions, and apply first-principles thinking.
Own outcomes and maintain high standards for operational software quality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline plus 1+ years of full-stack software experience, or 3+ years of professional full-stack software experience in lieu of a degree.
At least 1 year of experience in full-stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science.
Frontend experience with Angular, React, or a similar JavaScript framework is preferred.
Programming experience in Python or a similar object-oriented language is preferred.
Experience with PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, or similar relational database technologies is preferred.
Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
Experience with version control and continuous integration and continuous delivery systems is preferred.
Experience profiling and improving application performance is preferred.
Experience with build systems and package management tools is preferred.
Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, and nighttime or weekend on-call shifts as needed.
