Responsibilities

  • Implement user-facing features for the Linqia Platform using Vue.js, Vuex, and TypeScript.
  • Translate business needs and user goals into intuitive, responsive user experiences.
  • Architect and implement scalable server-side applications using Python and FastAPI.
  • Write complex SQL queries to gather and analyze data from multiple sources, including with Trino or similar tools.
  • Develop and maintain microservices and integrate them with frontend components and RESTful APIs.
  • Design, optimize, and troubleshoot relational and non-relational databases.
  • Write tested features, participate in code reviews, and own work across the full codebase.
  • Develop end-to-end integration tests and contribute to performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical area, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a software engineer or developer across frontend and backend development.
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, Vuex or Pinia, and Webpack or Vite.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience building and integrating APIs with FastAPI.
  • Experience with SQL, database optimization, microservices architecture, and Git/GitHub.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and a strong commitment to testing, code quality, and performance.
  • English language proficiency is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: postgraduate education or additional technical education/experience.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Docker, Apache Kafka, caching, performance testing and profiling tools, and machine learning or LLM frameworks.
