Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure software solutions for Banking Payments.
  • Build end-to-end cloud-native, microservices-based applications and scalable distributed systems.
  • Apply domain modeling and modern architectural patterns to create testable, maintainable, and resilient software.
  • Write, review, debug, and maintain high-quality production code.
  • Automate remediation of recurring issues and improve application and system operational stability.
  • Design solutions supporting zero-downtime releases and optimized data performance.
  • Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of modern technologies and best practices.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to team growth and development.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Proficiency with backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js, plus frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; distributed systems; and web technologies.
  • Hands-on experience designing scalable applications with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to independently solve design and functionality challenges with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, the software development life cycle, automation, continuous delivery, and application resiliency practices.
  • Preferred qualifications include financial-services or banking experience, AWS or equivalent cloud certification, cross-team engineering impact, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, and experience mentoring engineers.
