Responsibilities

Develop, implement, debug, support, and maintain firmware for compute boxes and GNSS/GPS sensors.
Support board bring-up for new hardware platforms, including bootloader, operating system, device driver, and debug interface initialization.
Develop firmware predominantly in C, C++, and JavaScript/TypeScript within a Linux runtime environment.
Collaborate with external firmware suppliers to meet technical and schedule expectations.
Contribute to automated unit and functional testing and support validation, verification, and in-field product testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of embedded firmware development experience using C, C++, and embedded Linux.
Experience with real-time operating systems, compilers, and debuggers.
Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, and continuous integration tools in production development environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred experience with CAN, J1939, BroadR-Reach, GNSS sensors or devices, IEC 61508 functional safety standards, and AI-assisted coding workflows.
