Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance the T Cloud Public public cloud platform.
  • Solve complex operational problems in a hyper-scale cloud backend.
  • Work hands-on with hardware, consoles, cloud infrastructure, and network services.
  • Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance solutions.
  • Automate infrastructure using common automation frameworks.
  • Participate in on-call duties and independently troubleshoot incidents within the defined area of expertise.
  • Assess technical solutions and develop creative approaches in a collaborative specialist team.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training.
  • 5–7 years of professional IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
  • Very good knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure automation.
  • Strong experience with Linux and network-related services.
  • Customer-focused approach and knowledge of agile development processes.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • OpenStack experience and programming experience in open-source projects are advantageous.
  • Ability to work within the European Union to meet customer data-security and privacy requirements.
