Responsibilities

  • Respond to incidents and troubleshoot unknown system issues.
  • Design, modernize, replace, maintain, and operate systems supporting Rakuten Edy and Rakuten Cash.
  • Improve monitoring quality and establish operational best practices and standards.
  • Implement security measures including ransomware protection.
  • Investigate issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Coordinate with domestic vendors in Japanese.

Requirements

  • More than three years of Linux or Solaris system operation experience.
  • Advanced Japanese ability for reading technical documents and communicating with domestic vendors.
  • Kubernetes operation experience is preferred.
  • Logstash and Filebeat installation and operation experience is preferred.
  • Jenkins and GitLab operation experience is preferred.
  • Docker operation experience is preferred.
