Responsibilities

Run and scale Kubernetes clusters, including GPU clusters for inference and training, across cloud and on-premises environments.
Set up compute, networking, permissions, and access for engineering teams.
Host and operate data systems used by product teams.
Build infrastructure tooling, automation, and self-service services primarily in Python.
Lead cluster builds, cloud migrations, and other large infrastructure efforts end to end.
Work with research, product, security, and safety engineers to launch and improve infrastructure reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

Deep hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production at scale.
Strong experience with GCP, including designing, building, and migrating cloud infrastructure end to end as an individual contributor.
Strong Python skills and experience solving infrastructure problems through code and automation.
Experience operating stateful systems, including databases and Kafka, for engineering teams.
Solid fundamentals in infrastructure as code, security, and permissions.
Preferred: experience with GPU clusters or ML training and inference infrastructure, such as vLLM.
Preferred: on-premises or bare-metal experience, deep networking experience, or open-source contributions to the cloud-native community.
