Responsibilities

Write, debug, and publish reusable Terraform modules for Linux and cloud infrastructure.
Design and own CI/CD workflows, policy checks, tests, approval gates, and guardrails in GitHub Actions.
Build and operate Kubernetes across managed cloud clusters and on-premise k3s, including distributed systems such as Kafka.
Provision and operate GCP, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud resources through Infrastructure as Code.
Operate and automate Linux infrastructure using Foreman, Puppet, Ansible/AWX, patching, and lifecycle management.
Build internal tooling and automation in Python or Go using test-driven development.
Participate in the global 24/7 on-call rotation, incident response, and cross-skilling across Linux and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

Strong Terraform experience, including writing, debugging, and producing reusable modules.
CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, including guardrails, gates, and policy checks.
Production Kubernetes experience across workloads, CNI, Helm, and Argo.
Hands-on experience provisioning and operating GCP or AWS through Infrastructure as Code.
Strong Linux fundamentals covering processes, networking, storage, systemd, logs, and kernel versus user space.
Proficiency in Python or Go and demonstrable test-driven development experience.
Direct production on-call and incident-response experience.
Typically 5+ years of infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering experience.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Nice-to-have experience includes both Linux/systems and cloud/platform engineering, GCP, Kafka, Puppet, Ansible/AWX, Foreman, bare-metal and datacenter infrastructure, VMware, Proxmox, routing, load balancing, BGP, multicast, and financial-services or other high-availability environments.
Dutch is useful but not required.
