Infrastructure Security Engineer - Tokyo in Others

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure container standards and automation for developer workflows.
  • Maintain Kubernetes security and secure hybrid, multi-cloud, and cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Integrate security best practices and code-scanning platforms into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor and respond to security events and incidents across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Maintain SIEM data pipelines, dashboards, alerts, cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Build and maintain security operations infrastructure using Python, Terraform, and configuration management tools.
  • Own security projects from issue identification through solution implementation and track emerging cloud security threats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure security, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure and its security services.
  • Experience securing hybrid AWS/on-premises or multi-cloud environments, including IAM and overall security posture.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, network security concepts, and security implications.
  • Experience using Python or Bash for automation and tool development.
  • Preferred qualifications include CCSP, CSSK, or AWS Security Specialty certifications; deep Kubernetes and container security expertise; multi-cloud security experience; GitHub Actions experience; and experience with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Karma, Wazuh, or similar tooling.
  • Preferred experience includes building custom cloud security integrations, securing AI/ML workloads, contributing to open-source cloud security projects, and working with regulated financial platforms.
