Intern, Agent Development (Summer 2027) in USA

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of production AI agents for Sierra’s customers.
  • Ship features and learn from real-world AI agent use cases at scale.
  • Work effectively in fast-changing and ambiguous environments while solving technical problems.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and a builder’s or tinkerer’s mindset.
  • Ability to creatively overcome obstacles and ship with high agency.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Intern program eligibility for students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production is preferred.
  • Familiarity with agent evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering is preferred.
  • Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred.
