Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain firmware for enterprise hard disk drives.
Implement data structures, software algorithms, data paths, and drivers for hardware cores using C++ and Python.
Participate in technical investigations from problem statement through conclusions.
Create design documents for firmware development phases.
Develop strategies for functionality and compatibility testing of complex drive features.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer/electronics engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of C, object-oriented programming such as C++ and Python, data structures, algorithms, and multithreaded programming.
Strong aptitude for problem solving, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
Ability to learn new technologies, complex code, firmware, hardware, systems, and tools quickly.
Familiarity with microcontroller architecture such as ARM or ARC, embedded firmware development, and RTOS is an added advantage.
Knowledge of data analytics, data visualization, and machine learning is an added advantage.
Good understanding of Agile practices is an added advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and self-motivation.
