iOS Software Engineer in Canada new

Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and maintain sophisticated mobile applications for iOS.
  • Collaborate with a geographically distributed team and Product Managers to build new features.
  • Conduct code reviews, fix bugs, and write tests and automation to ensure application quality, stability, and performance.
  • Craft experiments to understand user interactions and contribute ideas for product improvements.
  • Participate transparently in the Mozilla open-source project and engage with its global community.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience building and shipping native iOS and iPadOS applications using Swift.
  • Strong interest in modern iOS development practices, including SwiftUI and MVVM architectural patterns.
  • Proficiency in code reviews, unit testing, and automation for high-quality maintainable code.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a distributed team setting.
  • Commitment to Mozilla’s stated values and its open-source mission.
