Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE enterprise applications.
  • Work with Unix and Linux environments for application deployment and support.
  • Use Struts and Spring to implement scalable application architectures.
  • Design and integrate RESTful APIs for communication between services.
  • Perform SQL database design, querying, and performance tuning.
  • Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
  • Contribute to cloud migration and deployment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain React front-end features.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprints, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on Java development experience with J2EE.
  • Strong proficiency with Unix and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Struts and Spring Frameworks.
  • Expertise in REST API design and integration.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Experience with React for front-end development.
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include DevOps and CI/CD experience, Docker or Kubernetes knowledge, and Java or cloud technology certification.
