Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications supporting Market Risk.
Contribute to complex projects and strategic technology initiatives.
Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
Work with large relational databases, logical models, and complex queries.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, knowledge sharing, and technical roadmap activities.
Maintain and enhance existing applications and improve their performance.
Support production environments and BAU requests.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance.
Evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and automation solutions.
Explore AI agents and automation tools for software development, testing, validation, and production deployment.

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and relational databases.
Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large relational databases.
Experience with relational database logical modelling.
Experience with JUnit and unit testing.
Ability to write scripts using Shell and/or Python.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and follow established coding standards.
Experience in an international or global environment is advantageous.
