Responsibilities

Design and develop board support and device-driver software in collaboration with software, hardware, FPGA, and factory test teams.
Test hardware during development and resolve issues before product release.
Follow group development processes and procedures to ensure code meets team guidelines.
Work with Operations to implement production test programs and procedures.
Support customer management teams in resolving field-found problems.

Requirements

Minimum B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Experience with C/C++ in an x86 embedded processor environment using collaborative software development tools.
Experience with Linux OS.
Experience reading hardware schematics and performing digital circuit analysis.
Knowledge of x86 BIOS/UEFI is an asset.
Knowledge of assembly language programming is desirable.
Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain problems to hardware and software teams.
