Junior iOS Engineer - Payments in Others

Responsibilities

  • Build technologies and products for N26’s Everyday Banking Payments Team.
  • Improve the iOS technology stack and maintain high quality standards.
  • Advocate for quality, security, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the N26 iOS community and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
  • Work with Product, customers, and stakeholders to understand needs and build appropriate solutions.
  • Cover the full production lifecycle of team services and drive progress end-to-end.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers and Technical Leads.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Swift and the iOS SDK, including concurrency, memory management, and local data persistence.
  • Experience with modern architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Modular Architecture in large-scale codebases.
  • Hands-on experience writing robust unit and integration tests for critical application workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach in an agile, cross-functional environment.
