Junior Software Engineer

Junior Software Engineer in USA

  • Houston, TX

Responsibilities

  • Develop software for spacecraft simulations and environment simulations.
  • Integrate software with human-computer interfaces and flight-computer data interfaces.
  • Develop and integrate custom software development and integration tools.
  • Support NASA human spaceflight programs including Gateway, Orion, and the International Space Station.
  • Perform hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting with the engineering team and NASA customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Good working knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
  • Strong interest in software development and aptitude for hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Citizenship or lawful permanent residency due to the federal position.
