Lead Data Engineer - SnowFlake in Others new

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers while supporting team development through feedback and knowledge-sharing.
  • Own day-to-day technical delivery, priorities, quality, and technical work reviews.
  • Develop and improve Snowflake-based data solutions and scalable ELT/ETL pipelines.
  • Use tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch, or equivalent technologies for modern data pipeline development.
  • Promote best practices in SQL, data modeling, testing, data quality, and CI/CD.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide pragmatic solutions across technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar technical role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, SQL, and modern data pipelines.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring Data Engineers.
  • Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch, or equivalent tools.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and cloud data platforms.
  • Strong French and English communication skills at C1 level.
  • Ability to balance hands-on engineering responsibilities with team leadership.
  • Consulting or client-facing experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Snowflake Cortex, AI, Python, Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hightouch, Census, CDP platforms, or Snowflake/dbt certifications is beneficial.
