Responsibilities

Lead and coach software development teams while serving as a primary technical contact for clients.
Oversee or participate in the complete software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation through production evolution.
Design solutions, select technologies, and make pragmatic tradeoffs to address client problems and constraints.
Write clean, reusable code and apply practices such as test-driven development, pair programming, design patterns, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation.
Collaborate with teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes while incorporating UX specifications and engineering best practices.
Use and advocate DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy secure, high-quality software.
Mentor less experienced peers and foster an inclusive, supportive team culture.

Requirements

Be well-versed in two or more languages or technologies, including Java and React or Angular, and be comfortable with object-oriented technology.
Have led software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous approaches.
Know delivery practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
Have knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Be able to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, translate business needs into software requirements, and execute a technical vision focused on business value.
Be comfortable mentoring peers, learning continuously, and navigating ambiguous situations from multiple perspectives.
