Lead DevOps Engineer in Others

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes.
  • Define and execute strategic DevOps maturity and developer-experience goals.
  • Lead automation for deployment, scalability, cost optimization, and system reliability.
  • Design and enforce zero-downtime maintenance strategies across multi-cloud environments.
  • Serve as a technical subject-matter expert for infrastructure security and compliance best practices.
  • Optimize monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Troubleshoot reliability issues across the network, Kubernetes, and operating-system layers.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Product, Development, Security, and Operations teams.
  • Evaluate and integrate tools and contribute to DevOps best practices, technical strategies, and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in a monthly on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
  • Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and automation.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong coding and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices and zero-trust architecture.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve full-stack infrastructure issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement DevOps best practices.
  • Preferred: experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
  • Preferred: knowledge of FinOps strategies for cloud cost management.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI-driven operations and observability tools.
