Responsibilities

Lead quality assurance activities for desktop applications and connected device ecosystems.
Define test strategies, plans, quality processes, scenarios, coverage, and risk assessments.
Design and maintain test cases, test data, defect reports, traceability matrices, and execution reports.
Develop automation frameworks, reusable test assets, and automated test scripts.
Execute and oversee manual and automated functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and non-functional testing.
Identify, track, and drive resolution of defects in collaboration with development teams and stakeholders.
Conduct test reviews, automation code reviews, quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor automation engineers and junior QA team members.
Integrate automated testing into build and deployment pipelines and support release planning, go-live activities, and release readiness reporting.

Requirements

B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
8–10 years of hands-on experience with automation scripting tools.
Very strong software testing and automation testing experience.
Working knowledge of a scripting or programming language, with Python or C# preferred.
Working knowledge of Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools.
Familiarity with VMware/vSphere or Hyper-V.
Experience with application deployment using CI/CD in a DevOps environment such as Jenkins or Azure.
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools.
Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is preferred.
