Responsibilities

Lead Agile teams of 3–8 engineers and scientists.
Plan sprints, delegate tasking, and drive technical execution.
Communicate with customers to elicit requirements, provide updates, and iterate through technical decisions.
Develop and maintain web applications hosted on cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to containerize applications for cloud deployment.
Implement web page user interfaces from design documents.
Write backend APIs that interact with cloud services.
Design, develop, and deploy software applications with team members.
Contribute to heavily object-oriented, extensible, and maintainable codebases.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
At least 5 years of software engineering experience and at least 1 year leading technical teams.
Experience with React and frontend development.
Experience with Python.
Knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Agile development.
A BS or MS in computer science or an equivalent degree, or significant professional experience.
Preferred experience with HCI and web design, microservice architecture, Terraform or CloudFormation, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
