Lead React Developer in Canada new

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of responsive, scalable, and high-performing web applications using React.js and Node.js.
  • Lead UI development initiatives and drive front-end architecture decisions, coding standards, and development best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, client teams, and distributed technology partners to translate requirements into technology solutions.
  • Design and consume APIs and support integration across applications and enterprise systems.
  • Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices for efficient and reliable software deployments.
  • Use GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and troubleshooting.
  • Mentor development team members and contribute to technical problem solving across the application lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on enterprise application development experience using React.js and Node.js.
  • Experience leading UI development initiatives and collaborating with distributed delivery teams.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and application integration patterns.
  • Experience with modern software development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience with Azure or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, modern front-end architecture, performance optimization, security best practices, technical design discussions, and Agile development environments.
