Responsibilities

Advance research in foundation models on structured data and world models for business problems.
Define scalable data, training, and experimentation environments for data and compute access.
Lead the creation of training and benchmark datasets combining semantic context with large-scale business data.
Collaborate on evaluation frameworks and benchmark suites for novel tasks.
Make design decisions about underlying technologies and execute scientific experiments on internal and public data.
Drive open-source model and software contributions based on research deliverables.

Requirements

PhD or Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, physics, mathematics, or another relevant discipline.
5+ years of professional experience with a deep background in machine learning on structured data and its application in a business context.
Demonstrated ownership of scalable machine learning and data environments, including understanding of success criteria and trade-offs.
Knowledge of current research and development trends in foundation models on structured data.
Hands-on data engineering experience solving data challenges.
Fluency in Python and the ability to turn ideas into production code.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in cross-cultural teams.
Developer experience with an SAP application and its underlying data models is preferred.
