Responsibilities

Own the full product lifecycle from business requirements and technology selection through development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Design, develop, and maintain fintech platforms, scalable backend systems, data pipelines, and storage solutions.
Build stable, scalable, and high-performance systems for financial technology applications.
Improve code quality and mentor engineers across the team and wider organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to advance product and technology goals.
Lead projects, initiatives, system ownership, recruiting, and onboarding activities.

Requirements

Require 10+ years of experience developing high-performance production applications.
Require strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Scala, or C#.
Require experience with Hadoop, real-time processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, SQL, and data architecture.
Require systems thinking, strong problem-solving ability, metrics-driven decision-making, and operational excellence knowledge.
Require excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Require experience with metrics, alarms, dashboards, and Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
Preferred experience includes modern fintech or payments organizations and domains such as reconciliation, financial reporting, tax, payout methods, virtual credit cards, or customer payments.
Preferred hands-on experience includes Spark, ETL data pipelines, Kafka, RabbitMQ, GitLab, Kubernetes, and large-scale distributed systems.
Preferred experience includes leading projects, initiatives, or teams with full ownership of the systems involved.
