Responsibilities

Lead development of frontend solutions for the SaaS product using modern web development technologies and best practices.
Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.
Optimize frontend performance and accessibility.
Integrate open-source solutions and troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software components.
Conduct testing and validation to ensure software performance and reliability.
Mentor junior frontend developers and review code contributions from external contractors.
Help the team adopt current frontend technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a frontend developer.
Strong experience with modern web development frameworks, preferably Next.js and React.
Strong understanding of CSS and JavaScript or TypeScript, with TypeScript preferred.
Experience architecting and designing scalable, performant frontend solutions.
Experience with testing and debugging tools, preferably Jest and Cypress.
Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
Strong product-development problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Preferred qualifications include AWS experience, CI/CD pipeline experience, enterprise authentication and authorization workflow experience, microservices architecture experience, and customer interaction experience.

Benefits

The team meets in person several days a week in San Mateo, California.

Salary: $210k - $250k/yr
