Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
Lead adoption and validation standards for approved AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and remediation practices.
Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation to improve delivery and operational outcomes.
Identify and automate recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability.
Lead evaluations of external vendors, startups, internal teams, and architectural solutions.
Independently handle full-stack, UI, and related development activities.

Requirements

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience leading responsible use of AI-assisted software development tools and validating outputs for correctness, performance, security, and compliance.
Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and practical cloud-native experience.
Understanding of secure handling of sensitive data, resiliency, security expectations, and compliant AI engineering practices.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
Preferred: Angular/JavaScript and React UI development, independent UI development, Java, and database knowledge.
