Responsibilities

Design, write, maintain, and debug Linux kernel drivers and low-level software for camera and sensor hardware.
Develop software communicating with devices over CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, MIPI CSI, and other interfaces.
Bring up hardware platforms through BSP development, device-tree configuration, and kernel or bootloader integration.
Build and maintain embedded Linux distributions using Yocto and BitBake, including custom layers and recipes.
Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to define driver requirements and troubleshoot hardware/software interactions.
Perform low-level debugging, performance analysis, and systems-level software engineering.

Requirements

1–3 years of hands-on Linux kernel or device driver development experience is preferred; new graduates with relevant coursework or project experience are invited to apply.
Working experience with the Linux kernel, kernel modules, and driver development.
Strong working experience with C; C++ and/or Rust experience is a plus.
Familiarity with device tree, U-Boot, or other bootloader and BSP concepts is preferred.
Experience with Yocto, BitBake, or similar embedded Linux build systems is preferred.
Working knowledge of revision control and code review tools such as Git.
Experience manipulating GPIO and working with embedded Linux hardware platforms.
Ability to read schematics and data sheets and debug hardware at the register or bus level.
Must be a U.S. Person.
