Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requests and design, develop, and optimize data-driven machine learning models.
  • Collect, clean, and prepare data for model training and evaluation.
  • Evaluate mathematical and statistical modeling techniques and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement approved ML models with developers and integrate them into production environments.
  • Support product teams with mathematical expertise for betting features and algorithms.
  • Advise stakeholders on model usage, interpretation, and limitations.
  • Monitor model performance and improve accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on product innovation and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong background in mathematics, statistics, or machine learning.
  • Experience building, evaluating, and deploying production machine learning models, particularly deep learning architectures.
  • Knowledge of when to use different neural network architectures, including current state-of-the-art approaches.
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar language and experience with machine learning libraries or frameworks.
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, performance metrics, and model validation strategies.
  • Ability to translate business problems into mathematical and technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Experience in betting, gaming, fintech, or other data-intensive industries is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud environments, ML deployment pipelines, real-time data processing, generative AI projects, complete data science frameworks, or MLOps is preferred.

  • Salary of EUR 4,000–6,000 gross.
  • Sliding work schedule with start times between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m.
  • 23 days of annual leave initially, increasing by two days per year up to 33 days by the fifth year.
