Responsibilities

  • Set technical direction for customer data and marketing technology architecture.
  • Define scalable integration patterns between Snowflake, marketing platforms, and customer channels.
  • Design reusable approaches for customer profiles, attributes, events, audiences, identity resolution, and activation.
  • Guide batch, near-real-time, streaming, and event-driven integration patterns.
  • Establish engineering standards for data quality, reconciliation, lineage, observability, testing, and deployment.
  • Partner with Marketing, Data, Architecture, Privacy, Risk, Security, and engineering teams on trusted customer data use.
  • Lead technical and architecture reviews, mentor engineers, validate designs, and solve complex engineering problems hands-on.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Lead Engineer or Architect combining modern data architecture with customer data, marketing technology, or customer engagement platforms.
  • Technical leadership across the architecture and engineering of enterprise-scale Martech or customer engagement platforms.
  • Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Experience with dbt or comparable data transformation and analytics engineering practices.
  • Experience with customer data platforms, audience management, journey orchestration, or customer activation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time Customer Data Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Braze, Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Segment, or Tealium.
  • Understanding of customer identity, profile management, identity resolution, data contracts, reusable data products, and API, batch, streaming, and event-driven integration patterns.
  • Ability to move between enterprise strategy, architecture decisions, and practical engineering detail while influencing stakeholders across teams.
