Responsibilities

  • Design and develop next-generation data platform features for on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Participate in data modeling discussions and influence the data products roadmap.
  • Work across big data platform components including API gateways, message buses, databases, and database abstraction layers.
  • Propose and drive adoption of best practices for operating data platforms.
  • Author Apache Spark jobs to implement prerequisite data engineering.
  • Build and maintain an observability and telemetry platform for proactive infrastructure and application monitoring.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience with one or more of Python, Scala, Java, Golang, and C++.
  • Experience with database technologies and workload optimization.
  • Experience with big data technologies, the Kubernetes ecosystem, and microservice patterns.
  • Good understanding of and hands-on experience with SaaS technology development best practices.
