Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-native microservices and integrate features into Portworx products.
  • Own backend design and development through production, incorporating customer feedback and resolving unit, system, and deployment issues.
  • Perform coding, unit and functional testing, code reviews, documentation, debugging, and performance analysis.
  • Design and operate microservices in distributed systems scaling to thousands of nodes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product management, and external customer beta partners.
  • Work primarily from the Bangalore office in an open-office environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
  • 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise products, with Golang preferred.
  • Understanding of microservice architectures and cloud-native platforms.
  • Experience designing scalable software for distributed public and private cloud environments.
  • Expert debugging skills and ability to navigate ambiguous problems at scale.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders on production-quality software.
  • Solid background in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented open-office environment.
