Responsibilities

Design and build reinforcement-learning environments, evaluations, and datasets for high-value frontier-model capability gaps.
Develop internal platforms and infrastructure to run hundreds of thousands of tasks with strong throughput, reproducibility, and observability.
Collaborate with researchers and engineers at leading AI labs to shape dataset development around model roadmaps.
Build grading harnesses, metrics, and automated checks to measure environment and dataset quality.
Prototype rapidly and harden successful work into production systems that others can operate independently.
Contribute to Roboflow’s open-source projects when beneficial to the broader community.

Requirements

Strong generalist engineering background and practical experience with agents, evaluations, or reinforcement-learning workflows.
Strong technical background and written communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously on ill-defined problems at the frontier of AI with a bias toward action.
Experience with computer vision, multimodal models, or prior work with an AI lab as a data or evaluation partner is preferred.
