Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable software applications using Python and SQL for enterprise data and AI initiatives.
  • Develop and integrate AI, generative AI, machine learning, agentic, and predictive models into production workflows.
  • Architect and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models across relational and distributed databases.
  • Build reusable APIs, data ingestion pipelines, and automated services for business processes and analytics.
  • Automate data extraction, preprocessing, and feature engineering while identifying data quality and performance issues.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and sprint deliverables.
  • Lead solution demonstrations, training sessions, and technical design walkthroughs for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor team members through code reviews and design discussions while escalating technical risks and control gaps.

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional experience in software development and data engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, information systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced Python skills, including object-oriented programming and relevant frameworks and libraries.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, indexing, and data modeling across relational and distributed databases.
  • Experience building and operationalizing AI and generative AI models, prompt workflows, embeddings, and large language model orchestration in production.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Docker, and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage dynamic requirements and multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience with Tableau or equivalent business intelligence tools, Starburst, Trino, Presto, Google Cloud Platform data services, Google Agent Development Kit, model validation, data lineage, role-based access control, and enterprise governance frameworks.
