Modeling and Simulation Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate an AI-powered system controlling factory operations.
  • Automate substantial portions of industrial engineering work.
  • Design, build, and maintain business process automation for schedule management across platforms.
  • Implement and maintain an integrated master schedule for the Protofactory.
  • Create automated workflows connecting tickets, M&E deliveries, production start events, bar charts, and reporting.
  • Develop simulation models to test schedule scenarios, identify bottlenecks, and optimize production flow.
  • Use AI and machine-learning tools, including Claude Code, to accelerate automation development.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to build and automate workflows.
  • Production-quality software engineering proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar technologies.
  • Strong self-direction and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or similar tools.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred: experience with production scheduling systems, including ERP, MES, or custom scheduling platforms.
  • Preferred: experience integrating ticketing systems, procurement tools, and production-tracking systems.
