Responsibilities

Design and build security-critical infrastructure for Starlink
Develop security features for Starlink routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites
Design security into factory processes and provide supporting network services
Maintain production systems and improve their security posture through implementation and recommendations
Build prototypes and identify, design, and test security improvements
Support secure and reliable Internet access for underserved communities

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another STEM discipline
Graduation in the class of 2026 or 2027
Experience with at least one software development language, such as Python, C++, or Golang
Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or other enterprise-scale infrastructure
Preferred experience designing secure systems and contributing security improvements to complex systems
Preferred experience with Trusted Platform Modules and Hardware Security Modules
Preferred skills in applied cryptography, network security, operating system security, secure or authenticated boot, incident response, adversary detection, or vulnerability research
Advanced degree in a technical or engineering discipline is preferred
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Must satisfy applicable ITAR work authorization requirements
