Partner 20, Staff Security Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Connect SIEM, vulnerability scanning, EDR, identity, asset management, ticketing, and foundation models into unified security workflows.
  • Build dashboards and frameworks for asset inventory, vulnerability posture, exposure reviews, and compliance evidence.
  • Develop production-quality automations for vulnerability management, asset hygiene, access reviews, and cross-tool workflows.
  • Build LLM-augmented workflows, agentic automations, AI-assisted analysis, and model evaluation capabilities.
  • Share AI patterns and ship tooling that enables security and incident response engineers to use AI effectively.
  • Collaborate with Security Engineering, Incident Response, SecOps, IT, and the Applied Software Group.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of security engineering experience with automation and tool-building as a core responsibility.
  • Strong Python or similar programming experience and a record of shipping production-quality security tooling.
  • Broad security fundamentals across cloud security, detection engineering, identity, and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI APIs and evaluating model output for accuracy, usability, and performance.
  • Understanding of AI security risks including prompt injection, data exfiltration from LLM workflows, agent identity boundaries, and model risk.
  • Ability to explain technical security concepts, decisions, and trade-offs to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative, empathetic, low-ego approach across security, engineering, and IT.

Salary: $243k - $284k/yr
