Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain security products across cloud, AI security, network, endpoint, and identity domains.
  • Write and maintain software integrations with security vendor APIs and automate repeatable product setup.
  • Build reusable tooling for provisioning, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and automated validation.
  • Develop representative enterprise security configurations and workflows for engineering development and validation.
  • Investigate APIs, permissions, authentication, data models, product behavior, limitations, and edge cases.
  • Diagnose integration failures across TENEX software, vendor products, and environment configuration.
  • Maintain technical documentation and implementation examples for engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, security engineering, or a related technical field, including substantial hands-on software development.
  • Ability to write maintainable software in Python or another general-purpose language using version control, automated testing, and code review.
  • Experience building API integrations and troubleshooting authentication, authorization, data exchange, and system behavior.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and configuring multiple enterprise security products.
  • Working knowledge of SIEM, EDR, SOAR, cloud security, network security, and identity platforms, with depth in one or more areas.
  • Experience automating infrastructure or application configuration and maintaining reliable technical environments.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar products, work with incomplete documentation, and produce reusable software and clear technical guidance.
  • Preferred experience includes integrations, backend services, developer tooling, customer or solutions engineering, technical consulting, AI applications or agents, Terraform, Ansible, containers, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automated integration testing.
  • Relevant cloud or security certifications are preferred.
