Responsibilities

Lead a team of cybersecurity engineers focused on immediate response to active threats.
Implement Starshield’s cyber defense strategy and develop countermeasures based on the cyber threat landscape.
Conduct red-team exercises, vulnerability discovery efforts, internal bug hunts, and vulnerability triage.
Improve incident discovery and response in collaboration with internal security-event detection teams.
Collaborate with teams building security features and internal incident discovery tools.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer security, or a similar field plus 7+ years of professional cybersecurity experience, or 10+ years of cybersecurity experience.
Experience leading a team of direct reports.
Experience implementing systems for adversary detection and incident response.
Expertise in computer networks and large-scale distributed compute platforms.
Experience leading 3–5 engineers on a technical cybersecurity project.
Experience with vulnerability discovery and triage, continuity of operations planning, and Blue Team or Red Team assessments.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to nontechnical audiences and learn new technologies quickly.
Must successfully obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.

Benefits

Base salary range is $225,000–$340,000, with a possible 10% clearance differential up to an additional $20,000 annually; compensation is excluded from this benefits summary.
