Principal Frontend Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software for a new enterprise agility initiative from scratch.
  • Collaborate with teammates to deliver customer and business impact while making appropriate tradeoffs.
  • Improve the security, reliability, performance, and operational quality of features.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the systems built.
  • Mentor more junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building large-scale frontend applications using React.
  • Experience developing enterprise-grade quality software.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science.
  • Understanding of the modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing, and releasing.
  • Experience mentoring more junior engineers.
  • Experience with microservice architectures and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, SQS, and S3.
  • Experience building integrations and data synchronizations using event pub/sub models.

Salary: $174k - $274k/yr
