Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of POS terminal solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Integrate payment technologies, EMV standards, payment processors, gateways, and POS hardware peripherals.
  • Develop and maintain architectural documentation and diagrams for POS terminal systems.
  • Lead development of POS-related applications, including Android Native and mobile applications.
  • Optimize payment processing performance, security, stability, and reliability.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce software engineering best practices across POS and related teams.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure hardware compatibility.
  • Mentor engineers, improve developer productivity, and participate in technical hiring.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in system design, architecture, and development within the POS terminal domain.
  • Strong Android Native development expertise using Java and Kotlin.
  • Experience with cross-platform mobile development such as Flutter; familiarity with C and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of EMV security protocols, chip-based transactions, encryption, and key management.
  • Experience integrating POS hardware including card readers, pin pads, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Deep understanding of payment systems architecture and integrations with payment processors and gateways.
  • Knowledge of software quality assurance principles applied to financial systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, mentoring, and process-improvement abilities.
