Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, set engineering direction, and mentor engineers.
  • Design, build, and evolve platforms, services, APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and reusable engineering capabilities.
  • Build scalable solutions connecting application, infrastructure, cloud, configuration, asset, security, risk, and operational data.
  • Establish engineering standards for architecture, code quality, APIs, testing, observability, security, resilience, and deployment.
  • Build and operate cloud solutions, preferably on AWS, using infrastructure automation and automated delivery practices.
  • Partner with architecture, security, risk, data, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-aligned solutions.
  • Help evolve enterprise technology platforms, including ServiceNow CMDB, IT Asset Management, and ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Maintain direct accountability for design, development, testing, and delivery.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of strong software engineering experience, including senior technical leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with either ServiceNow CMDB or IT Asset Management.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and deep experience with one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Golang, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Experience designing data-intensive, API-led, microservices, serverless, or event-driven systems.
  • Strong experience designing and building APIs, integrations, automation, and data pipelines.
  • Experience designing, building, and operating cloud solutions, preferably on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, observability, and reliability engineering.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise data and integration architectures.
  • Ability to work across application, infrastructure, cloud, data, security, and enterprise architecture domains.
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in engineering or an equivalent degree.
